Jamaica Me Hungry Candied Pineapples are a favorite KitchenKids! recipe! This is a great snack to pack for school lunches and a great after school too!
Ingredients:
1 Fresh Pineapple
4 Tbs. Brown Sugar
1 Tsp. Fresh minced Ginger or Ginger Powder
Juice of half a Lime
Directions:
Peel & cube the pineapple into a bowl with an air tight lid or large ziplock bag.
Add brown sugar, ginger, & lime juice.
Stir mixture, cover or spoon into a plastic bag & refrigerate for at least one hour before eating & enjoying!
